Cloud cover based solar radiation models are relatively simple and convenient as the models require the input of cloud cover data which are mostly available from the meteorological stations. In this study, the performance of a cloud cover based solar radiation model (Kasten–Czeplak model) with original or locally fitted coefficients was evaluated for estimating the hourly global solar radiation for four different locations in Western Canada. The average value of R2, mean bias error, and root mean square error are 0.69, ?61.6, and 157.9?W?m?2, respectively, for the model with original coefficients, whereas 0.82, 4.4, 107.1?W?m?2 with locally fitted coefficients. Results show that the Kasten–Czeplak model with locally fitted coefficients satisfactorily estimated the hourly solar radiation of four different locations in Western Canada. Also, the results indicate that the model with original coefficients has very limited accuracy under intermediate cloud cover conditions. 相似文献

One of the major challenges facing cloud computing is to accurately predict future resource usage to provision data centers for future demands. Cloud resources are constantly in a state of flux, making it difficult for forecasting algorithms to produce accurate predictions for short times scales (ie, 5 minutes to 1 hour). This motivates the research presented in this paper, which compares nonlinear and linear forecasting methods with a sequence prediction algorithm known as a recurrent neural network to predict CPU utilization and network bandwidth usage for live migration. Experimental results demonstrate that a multitime-ahead prediction algorithm reduces bandwidth consumption during critical times and improves overall efficiency of a data center. 相似文献

针对现有海量点云可视化方法存在索引构建时间长、内存占用大等问题,研究一种八叉树索引结合OSG分页结点的快速可视化方法,可在占用较小内存的基础上快速建立点云索引并实时调度。采用八叉树索引结构对海量点云进行数据组织,建立各层级的八叉树结点并以文件映射的方式分块保存,对结点文件重组织转换为支持OSG渲染引擎的多分辨率点云数据。采用基于OSG分页结点的实时调度技术,对海量点云进行高质量可视化。与目前两款主流的点云数据处理商业软件进行实验对比分析,结果表明所提方法具有索引建立速度快、内存占用小等优点,同时可视化交互更加流畅,适用于各种配置计算机下海量点云数据的调度管理与实时可视化。 相似文献

With the increasing ageing population worldwide, providing effective nursing care planning in nursing homes is important in meeting the expectations of elderly patients and in streamlining the healthcare information process, hence maintaining high‐quality services. Instead of the traditional manual nursing care planning formulation based on expert experience and subjective judgement, this paper describes an adaptive decision support system, namely, the cloud‐based nursing care planning system, to enable decision making in formulating nursing care strategies. By integrating cloud computing technology and the case‐based reasoning (CBR) technique, medical records and documents pertaining to the elderly can be captured in real time, whereas appropriate treatment plans based on past similar treatment records can be formulated. However, the current case adaptation processes in CBR rely on domain experts to modify retrieved cases, which may not satisfy the needs of the elderly. Therefore, text mining is integrated in the case adaptation process of CBR for extracting up‐to‐date medical information from the Internet so that its efficiency can be improved. By conducting a pilot study in a nursing home, it was shown that the time for formulating applicable treatment plans for elderly patients can be reduced, and the service satisfaction level can be enhanced. 相似文献

针对海底金矿涌水危险评价过程中的不确定性及随机性问题,选择工程地质及水文地质中涉及的10个重要因素构建评价指标体系,建立起涌水危险评价的云模型。基于评价结果,对危险区域的涌水量时间序列进行相空间重构,通过G-P算法及自相关法获得了重构相空间参数;分析了涌水量变化的相点距离演变规律,建立了涌水安全预警机制。结合混沌相空间重构,建立了涌水量预测的RBF神经网络模型。研究表明:涌水危险性的云模型评价结果准确可靠;相空间重构揭示了系统的混沌特性,最邻近相点演化将涌水量的内在细微变化特征放大,为涌水安全预警机制的建立提供了依据;混沌RBF神经网络能够实现涌水量的短期精确预测,为井下安全开采提供了技术保障。 相似文献

This paper proposes new procedures for scheduling a flow-line manufacturing cell and compares the results obtained by using these new procedures to results obtained using procedures developed by Wemmerlov and Vakharia, Skorin-Kapov and Vakharia, and Sridhar and Rajendran. The procedures are evaluated on the basis of the makespans generated by solutions for test problems. The results show that the new procedures can efficiently generate good makespans and that results obtained by using the tabu search procedure developed by Skorin-Kapov and Vakharia can be improved if a starting set of job and family sequences is generated by one of the new procedures. 相似文献
